Palm Trees

Most palms, the fronds or leaves grow only at the top end of a single trunk.

Paint your palm trees, one frond at a time using 1 inch flat brush, using the sharp edge hold vertically and bounce the edge across the paper.

Paint center line of frond with the edge, then with very close repeated strokes from that center outward.

SIDE VIEW

Scrape back a few light fronds with pen knife.

Paint the fronds rather dark then scrape when paint is nearly dry.  IMPORTANT - nearly dry.
