A VERY PRETTY SCENE.IT LOOKS LIKE A NICE AND RELAXING VACATION SPOT. I LOVE THE BOATS AND DOCK AND ALL YOUR PRETTY COLORS. YOU SHOULD KEEP ON PAINTING FOR SURE.

 Sky and water

Could not the water have a real sandy ,mud, bottom and all be churned up, producing a dark color. Does not have to reflect the sky color then. I think it looks nice like it is

I think Karins teacher could have a valid point.the body of water does reflect the sky. BUT maybe the artist did not want that effect. It looks nice how he painted it so give him the benifit of the doubt. Alan carry on it is a very nice painting. (did you intend to change the rules) Cheerio from the U.K

Love the sky. nice and clean and good use of colors. Took a copy with me to my painting lessons.This is what the instructor said , The color of a body of water is supplied by the sky. If you were to take a glass full of the water it would be fairly colorless ,The only color the water can have is from the sky. Does that make sense to any body out there? I am not sure.
