Deception Pass Bridge

Deception Pass Bridge

Deception Pass Bridge

As you can tell from this bridge onto our island, and the Taylor Road Barn, I live quite rural. So most everything I paint is rustic.

I paint everyday and keep about one painting a week. The rest have too big of flaws but the learning experience is great in even the worst effort.

I paint with a very narrow pallette (3 blues, 4 reds & 4 yellows). I love flat brushes (2",1",1/2" & 1/4").

I like the half sheet size (15"x22") and I love the work of Frank Webb & Robert E Wood.

I want to thank you, Jim, for viewing my work with a critical eye.
