Cat Island Conch

I found a beautiful conch on the beach near our anchorage at Cat Island in the Bahamas. I had been wanting to find a beautiful conch and thought that painting this picture would satisfy my desire to take one home with me. The experience only wetted my appetite and I did end up carrying the conch home and look forward to painting it in different settings and scales.
