Apr 16, 2008 Rating Nice but a few rules bent by: Betty Johns Hello. What a change to see a close up view,nice.Great handling of color it all worked. did you deliberately break a few rules ,rules can be bent if it helps the picture. Placing the horizon line in the middle of the painting did not . the viewer does not know where to look first,at the nice sky or the nice main (should have been the center of interest) the conch. A another viewer picked up on that. The two horizontal lines going across where you wanted the viewer to look did not help.
